"C-32"

C-32 was one of my most daunting creation. It was a time complexity work. My goal was to asses my abilities conceptually. Pushing my limits of creating an organic thought to the creation of a complete work. My goal was to paint something that describes the type of artist I aspire to be.

With this painting I achieved my goal, in 32 Hours.

"NO CORNER, NO DIAMONDS"

My goal in this piece is to emphasize that without obstacles and struggles, one cannot reach their full potential. We all have internal and external battles, at times though, hitting rock bottom is necessary steps to success.

This piece depicts the evolution of a complex piece, using compounds to create unnatural texture. Thus, the time and effort of this painting are encapsulated by the title.

"TO DO LIST"

I relay the weight of countless tasks and responsibilities.
Each stroke pushes out deadlines, commitments, and expectations-pieces scattered onto the canvas.
Yet, the colors converge, not in chaos, but in deliberate patterns. They form bridges across the tumult, connecting moments of clarity. Sometimes, stepping back-reassessing, recalibrating-is the path to clarity.
“There’s always a way out-a step back, a breath taken.”-Clement
I hope this painting reaches those who are overwhelmed, anxious, and worried. I want them to know that they are not alone. I hope when they see this painting it brings them support. Reminder that there is always a way out.

"MADNESS REDEFINED"

In any practice, one reaches a point where whatever they seem to create seems to not be right. Almost as if there is something missing. Because of this, they face the challenge of adjusting their work over and over; Until it's beyond help.

This piece enunciates that continuation, as it drives the artist into this trance like work, it continues to be redefined.

"Out of the Yellow Jug"

"Out of the Yellow Jug" displays the simplicity of life, food and water, being basic necessities of life. Out of this comes a calming and peaceful life, full and good. This pieces uses beach sands in North Carolina for that purpose.
